God Is Still Good: Pre-Order Info & Spotify Playlist

It’s a new year, and I wrote a new book! God Is Still Good: Gospel Hope and Comfort for the Unexpected Sorrows of Motherhood is especially for moms and those who love them. It releases on January 17, and you can pre-order a copy here. In the meantime, here’s a little bit about the book and a link to the Spotify playlist I compiled to go along with it.

About God Is Still Good

Motherhood is much more than suffering, but it’s not less, and there’s a particular kind of suffering that moms experience. Whether it’s post-partum depression or a child’s difficult behavior, a serious medical diagnosis or estrangement from an adult child, motherhood is hard, and it brings all kinds of unexpected sorrows. But God Is Still Good assures moms like me that even when circumstances look nothing like we imagined, God remains the same, and we can trust him. In nine chapters, this book reminds us that the Lord is our true hope and comfort for the unexpected sorrows of motherhood, and his word provides a framework that both explains our suffering and helps us combat common temptations and lies that travel with it.

One way we can remind ourselves of truth is by listening to songs that highlight God’s character and promises. So to accompany the release of God Is Still Good, here’s a Spotify playlist with some of my go-to songs for hard days. Artists include Shane and Shane, Keith and Kristyn Getty, Chris Tomlin, CityAlight, and more. I hope these songs encourage you!
